Dorico pro stopped...?

Started up Dorico, saw an advertisement of the iPad-version and then suddenly I get this on my Mac:
“This project contains more players than this version of Dorico allows. It will open read-only, so you can play and print it but not edit it.”

I seem to be in a lower version of Dorico… with no lay-out.
What’s wrong?

Quit and restart. If you hold down a key (I forget which), you can ‘pretend’ to be in Elements or SE.
