Hallo!
I’m translating here for those who don’t speak Heine’s language (alas).
« Hello! I am new to working with Dorico and have the following problem: When I try to play my Dorico project to listen to it, my Macbook does not output any sound. However, the normal sound output of videos and audios works. Here is the diagnostics report: Thank you.»
Welcome to the forum @buchberger.philipp and thanks for the data.
At first sight it looks all fine, but please check following:
From the Dorico menu choose Edit > Device Setup (Geraete konfigurieren). In that dialog click on Device Control Panel (Kontrollfeld) and in the little window that pops-up then make sure that the output ports are tick marked. I bet they are not and therefore you don’t hear anything.
Strange, very strange.
Then let’s try the following: Start a new project from piano template. That project should already have some empty bars (if not, create a few empty bars).
Switch on the metronome (second button right of the Play button). If you then start the transport (press Play), does the green cursor move and can you hear the metronome ticking?
I loaded the Bach Fuge template. There the Audio plays. I also startet the Metronome in my Project and I could hear it. I think that that maybe there his a Plugin so that it doesn’t have the Instruments I use, is that possible?
