Dorico scans my plugins every time it starts up

Question: Is there a way to stop Dorico from scanning my plug-ins every time?
I have several notation and music production software applications, and none of them takes as long to start up as Dorico does. I suspect it has to do with Dorico scanning all my plug-ins every single time. All my other music production apps only scan once, and then they are done with it. If I install a new plug-in, macOS will let the software know about it, so that it can scan it the first time it starts up after that installation. Why can’t Dorico do that?

Normally Dorico does not scan already known plug-ins. It keeps a cache of already scanned plug-ins and only scans the ones it does not find in that cache.

Would you please do from Dorico’s menu Help > Create Diagnostic Report and post the corresponding zip file. It contains log files from which I can see what gets scanned and how long it takes. Thanks

Thanks for looking into this. After instructing Dorico to save the diagnostic report, it starts up much faster. Very strange. I will monitor the situation. When the problem reoccurs, I will let you know.
