I am writing on behalf of our music department, who use Dorico software for academic purposes in a secondary school environment. Our students have ARM64 Wondows surface devices that they can use to work on notation outside of class. They cannot download software themselves, and must rely on deployment of any software through our IT department via Intune. Our music department would like to find out if we can deploy Dorico SE to student devices so that they can continue working when not on departmental computers. Could anyone who may know confirm if Dorico SE can be deployed in this way, and if the compatibility issues with ARM64 are solved? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Welcome to the forum.
Dorico is not ported natively to ARM yet, but it runs via the builtin emulation layer on these architectures.
I have no experience about performance on ARM machines, but itcahould not be dramatically slower.
