Dorico stops receiving MIDI input

Lately, a few times a day, Dorico suddenly stops receiving any MIDI input from any of the controllers. Other MIDI apps still receive MIDI, so this is a Dorico issue, and not a system MIDI setup thing.

The green light on the right bottom corner does not react to any MIDI. This happens in the middle of note input or editing - I’m not toggling any MIDI input option.

Restarting Dorico solves the problem, but this is becoming very disruptive - any advice?

Attached are the recent logs - last time it happened was 11:37pm. (I deleted the Audio Engine folder - otherwise it’s too bog to send here - hope this isn’t a problem)

Thanks!

Dorico Diagnostics 5.zip (3.8 MB)

Well, would be nice if you could also post the audio engine folder.

If it is even after zipping too big to upload here, please send it directly to me under u dot stoermer at steinberg dot de

Thanks

It is too big for here - I’ll mail it to you - thanks!!

Thanks, I received it.

Well, it looks like that around 23:37 hours you had more than one project open and then you swapped activation from one project to another one. Is that correct?

I probably did have another project open; if I switched between them at that moment I’m not aware of it (and I doubt I’ve been doing it in all the times it happened, but I’ll pay attention from now if the issue occurs when I switch between open projects)

I do however constantly switch between Dorico and Logic Pro, if this might explain anything?
