I can’t seem to get the tempo information from a Dorico MIDI export into Cubase. I know this is a beginner’s question, but how do you do this? When I import the MIDI it just comes out flat at 120 BPM.
Check preferences. Although I don’t use Cubase, Logic Pro prompts me to confirm I want to import tempo with a “don’t ask me again” check box. Perhaps Cubase has something similar and you clicked it.
Look here at Ignore Master Track Events on Merge setting, that should do.
