I want to use my AKAI MPK mini keyboard pads for the swiss-drum notation.
Dorico automatically generates pads for example right - left, flam right - left, etc.
Is there a possibility to connect the pads from Dorico with the pads on my AKAI keyboard?

I think so, but I’m not too familiar with swiss drum notation. After you set up the playing techniques for the drum, you can make the percussion map match the MIDI note sent by the MPK to the technique you want to enter on the staff.
I have an MPK Mini Play and might be able to play with this a bit if you give me a more specific idea about what you’re trying to do. There’s also this post that has a Dorico file that has some of the swiss rudiments already set up.
Thank you James. I figured out how to adjust the 8 pads on the midi Keyboard to a specific note.
But there’ another question maybe you can help me:
In swiss drum notation, we write on one line. On top is the right hand, below is the left hand. How can I notate right and left with the midi keyboard? I know it is working with a 5line drumkit gear. Is it also possible with only one line?
Yes, you can do that with a one line staff.
Open the Percussion Maps dialog. You could create your own or duplicate an existing map. Here I have created my own, assigned names for each, and then selected Snare Drum as the instrument.
In Play Mode, open the Endpoint Setup (the settings cog) and choose your percussion map for the instrument it should apply to.
I’ll attach the project so you can see the steps there (though I assigned LH and RH to C4 and D4, so that’s probably not very practical with the MIDI notes you chose on your MPK).
