Hi all,
I’m new in Dorico, and looking for libraries to produce some good mock-up, before editing with big libraries or live orchestra. I’d like advice for collections which sound good, and matches well with Dorico and NotePerformer notation (I’m on a 2018 Mac mini with 64Go ram). For example, Synchro Prime Edition seems a good option, but I’ve noticed that for some instruments articualtions are very limited (for exemples french Horns). Hoopus and nucleus seem good option too ?.. Thanks to share you experience
Didier
If you have NotePerformer, then I’d recommend using one of the libraries that it has “Playback Engines” for. This gives you the sound of the samples, but with NP’s phrasing logic.
I have Spitfire’s BBCSO, which a lot of people like. There’s an engine for Hollywood Orchestra, too.
Thanks
