Dotted fourths in 3/4

How can I get dotted fourths in 3/4?

By default, Dorico will try to preserve the visibility of (some) beats, which is desirable in many cases. If you want to have a different representation of the rhythms, first explore the Notation Options if there’s a setting to your taste, and if that’s not sufficient, you can use Force Duration (shortcut ‘o’) while inputting notes.
Trick: Force Duration will be applied when you enter a note. In order to change this for an existing note, you have to re-enter it. In this case: select the second (tied) note, and type the following .o..
This first removes the ‘dottedness’, then adds Force Duration, and then adds the dot again. This effectively re-enters the note in a new disguise.

Thank you:notes: It works:+1::notes:

As said, by default, Dorico wants to avoid the confusion with 6/8 by showing the 3rd beat.
