Dotted half note behavior problem

I want rewritten as a dotted half note.

I know press O for force duration and then press 7 and dot (period) to force it into a dotted half.

but This method is inefficient because it needs to be applied to every measure.

Is there a way to apply this to the whole, or a way to fix it to a dotted half note when inputting for the first time?

In Notation Options > Note Grouping > Time Signatures with Half Bars, try setting this option:

Note that this won’t affect any notes you have already entered with Force Duration.
