I know how to use the Line Body editor but I can’t seem to make a true dotted line, that is, with round dots. The best I can come up with is a dash that is the same width as the line thickness. The line type pop-up is “Dashed or Dotted”. So how do I get round dots, like the 8va line (though this is not an 8va line)?
Hi @MusiComPublishing, in the Dash-gap pattern field of the Edit Lines Bodies dialogue, if you write the first value as a negative number, you will obtain dots (and the negative value defines the diameter).
It was news to me too until someone explained it to me on this forum awhile ago. Wouldn’t it be nice if this system were explained right there in all that empty space next to where the values are entered? Or there were separate clearly-labeled spaces for each of the values so they could be entered separately?
