I do not like dotted quarter-breaks. In 6/8 or 4/4 I find this terrible. Purely mathematically it is correct, but I still learned that one better writes a quarter-break and an eighth-break. In the book on music notation by Herbert Chlapik (Die Praxis des Notengraphikers; Doblinger, 1991) this also applies to this spelling. Is it possible to influence the automatism of Dorico, who writes this?
