Error importing from a midi file
Hey!
Check the original midi for doubled notes!
What’s curious, is that on each 8th it adds one notehead… Never seen this before. But the issue is 99% with the source midi. If you can convert it to MusicXML before importing, it could well work better.

The original is perfect!
Well, if you have exactly doubled, tripled, etc. Midi notes, you wouldn’t even spot them in the original piano roll!
Please provide the original MIDI file, and we can take a look. A screenshot doesn’t allow us to diagnose the problem.

The truth is that Steinnberg is a Genius marketing but not his products..
If you want help, please post the file as you were politely asked. If it is perfect, then there would be no problem with it and we would know that there is something that needs to be fixed in Dorico. We are trying to help!

With Sibelius no problem ever?
Dude…
We’re happy to help, but we can only help if you provide us with some more information. Sibelius and Dorico are completely different applications, and so the operation of one has absolutely no bearing on the other.
Please provide us with a MIDI or MusicXML file that reproduces the problem you are experiencing in Dorico, and we’ll do our best to assist you.
I’ve experienced this problem (i.e. multiple noteheads) before. The source of the problem was the keyboard/synth which was sending out multiple signals because it was in “performance” mode. Also, hitting the sustain pedal can trigger multiple notes. Resetting the synth or keyboard you’re using may fix the problem. But of course in this instance you would need to re-record with the adjusted settings. That may be faster than replacing all the notes. Anyway, that worked for me.
Dear friend, I also tried with Notion! and the problem doesn’t occur. I’d be a little ashamed if I were a STEINBERG developer!
Dear Savius, read this again:
Ok I think even a few measures are enough
Yes.

DoricoPro…blem.mid (5,8 KB) There he is
I don’t get any double or triple notes like in your original image. Lots of clusters, though.

For comparison purposes, I tried importing your MIDI file into Dorico, Sibelius and MuseScore.
The following screenshots show only part of the import:
Dorico:
Sibelius:
MuseScore:
