Double barlines for meter change?

Is there / could we have an option to set double barlines at time sig changes?

I know Gould says it’s ‘misleading’ if it’s not the start of a new section, but for some music e.g. 17th century music, it’s frequently done either side of triple-time sections, even if the music is continuous.

I can do it manually, of course, but I’ve grown unaccustomed to manual work.

Thanks for the suggestion, Ben. I’m not sure how much work this would be to implement, but I’ll make a note of it and we’ll try to take a look when we have a bit of time to spare.
