When I insert a note via double clicking who does it always get very short like this:
I would like being able to create some longer notes after double clicking. Is that possible or could it become possible?
Check your quantize settings.
The grid size is set with the Quantize Preset if you set the Grid Type to Use Quantize, the length of notes added by clicking is set by the Length Quantize setting (which can be defined as linked to the grid size, or as a specific length).
If these are not visible in the key editor toolbar, you can add them by right-clicking on the toolbar.
