Tested fader setting, pan setting, inspector settings (several), BPM tempo, time sig and more,… evrything works ok. This is on CB pro 15, win11 on a laptop.
So it can not be a cubase problem as such.
Entering a different name for a track via doubleclick was solved by resetting the preferences back to factory defaults (holding Cmd/Ctrl + Shift + Alt/Option during launch > dialogue window) a couple of days ago in the German forum. The issue migrated over multiple Cubase versions in that case.
This solution might work for @redduskstudio , not necessarily for other cases which have been reported in this thread.
this unfortunately did not work for me, the problem is still there.. This behavior was not happening from cubase 6 to 13 in my case, but it’s like that on every project that have like 3 songs or more, and if I don’t activate the project the double click works like it should… but when the same project is activated the double click is unreliable.
