Double Click issue on Mac

Been having this issue for years with Cubase on my Macs. Used to happen before on my MacMini using Cubase 9-11. Now it’s happening on my MacStudio with Cubase 13. Anytime I need to double click on something to input a number, for example repeating an event, Cubase never understands it and I keep having to double click over and over again, eventually the idiot will understand what I’m trying to get it to do. Sound familiar to anyone?

and NO I’M NOT USING MAC’S STUPID MAGIC MOUSE, IT’S A NORMAL RED DRAGON MOUSE WHICH WORKS COMPLETELY FINE WITH EVERYTHING ON MY COMPUTER EXCEPT DOUBLE CLICKING IN CUBASE.

I’m using Cubase on both Mac and PC. No such ordeal here.

No it isn’t you - something has changed from C12 to C13…
Take the tempo box for example.
C12 was forgiving in that it always highlighted whether you single or double clicked it. And click drag always scrolled the tempo up and down. Solid.
In C13 you now have to single click it in exactly the right place, or it won’t open. But if you double click it, you’re not sure what will happen - it may open, it may not, or it may do a weird double flash thing…
