… should set it at 0 dB value, instead of having to use the Ctrl key with a mouse [click] : presently, two hands needed instead of what could be one.
A workflow thing that is important, in my view, when working with a physical instrument, such as a guitar.
Thanks in advance for any improvement that could occur, on the matter.
Personally I would want that action (set to zero) to be a somewhat “less easy” process. By having to use both hands and the CTRL key I’m forced to think about what I am doing. I wouldn’t want to accidentally double-click on something that’s at -30dB and then have that source boost 30dB instantaneously.
As an option it’s fine of course. Just not default, for me.

No objection, even if i don’t see how a [double click] could be mistakenly done. FWIW, the RME TotalMix allows this, and I don’t remember having a level problem using it. Reaper also allow this, among others, I guess…
But yes, an option for this would be welcomed, as well as a more in depth way any mouse interaction could be set, beside the Tool modifiers.
