Double headed notes in Score Ed in nested folders

Under certain conditions notes are incorrectly displayed with double heads in the Score Editor.

  1. Create a new project with 8 MIDI Tracks.
  2. Create MIDI Parts on each track with MIDI Notes in them.
  3. Create 3 folders named A, B & C.
  4. Move half of the MIDI Tracks into folder A and the remaining into folder B
  5. Move folders A & B into folder C.
  6. With all the folders expanded select all parts in the Project Window using ctrl+A
  7. Open the selected parts in the Score Editor - everything will look normal.
  8. Deselect all the parts and collapse folder A
  9. Use ctrl-A to again select all the parts
  10. Open the selected parts in the Score Editor - for the tracks in folder A, all the notes will have double heads

Extra credit related issue

  1. Deselect all the parts and collapse folder C
  2. Use ctrl-A to again select all the parts
  3. The menu item “Scores/Open Selection” is now grayed out and the parts can’t be opened in the Score Editor
