Are we going to get some upgrade about this since it is not working at all with tuplets.
This is very limiting…

There are ways to do this, but it requires a methodical mindset (and careful consideration of the specific context).
In general:
- Turn on Insert mode
- Delete the tuplets
- Double durations
- Reapply tuplets
- Turn off Insert mode
(I usually mark the start of each tuplet before doing this, either with an articulation or custom colour the notehead, to make it easier to remember where they were!)
But, yes, a simpler way to handle this would be welcome.

That post was from more than four years ago. Of course we all have our priorities for things to be fixed in Dorico but I must admit that would be near the top of my own personal list, being someone who makes very frequent use of this otherwise very useful feature.

I’ve changed the spelling of one word in your subject line to make explicit that “half note” is not a note duration but a process to change the note value.
