Doubleclick on notes - erase option?

Is there a setting in which I can doubleclick on a note that was enterered with a doubleclick and have it erased?

->now it brings up that note expression menu which is (in my opinion) very unintuitive and un-userfriendly in its implementation

Hi and welcome,

Not in the Key Editor. But you can do so in the Drum Editor. If you enable Show Note Length in the Drum Editor, then you can work a similar way as you do in the Key Editor then.
