When I create a duplicate track all of the Melodyne edits I do on the duplicate track also affect the original. How do I create a duplicate track that isn’t shared like this. I’ve already tried “Convert to Real Copy” but that doesn’t solve the problem.
Did you right-click and select “Unlink Selected Tracks”?
If that doesn’t do it see this thread:
The tracks aren’t linked. The solution in that linked thread suggests to render in place and create a new file, but that makes the previous Melodyne edits permanent in the new file, which is not what I’m after. I would like both files to have the previous Melodyne edits as a starting point, but be able to manipulate subsequent edits separately for each track (including being able to revert to the original unedited audio).
