Hello, I have a doubt regarding the export of midi files. For example, if I export all the instruments within a flow as midi, unlike audio files, there is no option to export them as separate midi files. Currently the workaround I’ve found is to create a separate flow and temporarily copy the instrument into that flow. At that point Dorico allows you to select the parts separately. If I’m doing something wrong or omitting something, any help is welcome.
No, you’re not missing anything: when you export MIDI, all instruments in the current layout will be included in the MIDI file. You could switch to each part layout in turn and export MIDI from that layout, perhaps?
