Indeed, and that’s what I meant, though my question may have sounded as if I was trying to be pedantic - I just wanted to make sure. Here’s what I see on a Mac:
The “Installed State” perpetuates even if I delete the download files from ~/Downloads, which is nice. I do not know if Windows works the same way - others will have to verify that (meaning, if you can delete the install/downloaded files while the SDA still retains the fact you already downloaded it).
While a waste of bandwidth, you may want to just bite the bullet and download it all again just to make sure you have it all registered. Meaning, I don’t know what individual libraries “HALion Sonic Selection - Content” actually represents; it’s possible that you might miss a library and not know it.
In general though, if you know you already had all your content downloaded, then you can just re-register the .vstsounds files directly with Library Manager and it will work even if the SDA on the new computer doesn’t know you’ve done that.
A bit wonky, but all doable.
