Download Assistant not connecting

I’m not sure why, but trying to download 6.2 via ‘Steinberg Download Assistant’ I persistently got the message ‘A connection to the download server could not be established’. However, it was easy to download via the Steinberg website.

That was at about midday GMT. At 17.50, I’m still getting the same message about the inability to establish a connection (I tried purely out of curiosity, since I have successfully installed 6.2 via the website).

Does this matter?

There was an update for the Download Assistant some weeks ago, due tonexpired certificates.

Thank you. I think I finally got there, although the messages were not quite all hugely helpful eg being told to close an ‘unknown’ application (which I, rightly, presumed to be Dorico). I’m old (85) and seem to be beginning to struggle just a little with technology.

There is still manuscript!
