I try to download my Cubase elements 10.5 in the Assistant but it stops at 15.11 GB of 15.12GB !! What more hoops have we to jump through for Steinberg?
How long did you wait for the download to finish?
This is a pretty common behaviour of downloads from all kinds of places, it is not just Steinberg. The browser is downloading the package to a temp location and at the end copying it to the final place. That takes time, especially with large files, and it gets even longer if you have a virus scanner that actively scans files when they come in.
Thank you, Juergen, I understand what you are saying, but I’ve never had to wait this long for other downloads. I shall however try again, just to satisfy me, but I have the feeling this is something to do with older versions of programs.

Juergen, update two minutes after my first reply. After closing this, I realised that the Assistant was still open as I’d left it four hours previously. The download had completed during that time, so, yes, you were right :). Thank you
