Can anyone please enlighten me about Downmix presets in C12 Pro control room as follows:
I have 2 sets of monitors set up (physically and in Control Room) but I have 4 Downmix Presets as per screenshot.
I use the 1st 2 to change between Stereo and Mono as required but what is the 3rd preset for and the 4th blank one and how are these created/deleted please?
I checked the manual but cannot find a basic explanation of this.
You will keep 4 slots but you can make slot 3 empty by Alt-clicking on the field where it says “Stereo”. (Mac: Option-clicking)
The switch button in the Main section will only toggle between non-empty presets.

Would you know where in the manual or other reference I can read about why there are 4 slots etc. to understand better please?
If you were working in formats with more channels more presets are useful. 7.1 to 5.1, stereo and mono for example.

So if I understand your answer correctly, 4 slots a fixed number that cannot be changed?
No idea. I would guess so.
