Drag and drop audio file as Administrator or not as Administrator

I thought I read somewhere that Cubase must run a Administrator to be able to drag and drop audio file into the Event Display.
It seems like the opposite is true. I am able to drag and drop audio into Cubase only if I DO NOT run Cubase as administrator.

Hi,

Not at all. If you run Cubase as administrator, the drag and drop doesn’t work.

This is correct.

It’s recommended to install Cubase as administrator, but not run it as administrator.

No, it’s not. It’s common and recommended to run Cubase in the common (non-administrator) way.
