When you are in pattern / player mode, drag and drop a chord pad into the Arrangement creates a MIDI clip with the respective chord and NOT the pattern (i.e arp or sequence) as it normally should!
So please fix this one in order to get the arp / sequence we hear as a MIDI clip into the Arrangement and not trying to record it live in the MIDI track with the proper midi routing to get the pattern.
Even doing so there is a glitch / bug and the first bar isn’t recorded properly with the right pattern and you have to wait for the second bar to start the trimming of the MIDI clip to get the right pattern!
Too much fuss for something that seems fairly easy and a no brainer to implement!
If you finally and after several years requesting from a multitude of users implemented the Folder tracks shown as syncable folder in MixConsole you can surely do this one Steinberg much faster!
For me at least Chord Pads is Scaler killer (faster and easier to use and get really nice progressions) and it’s a shame such wonderful and well thought and TON of useful patterns ranging to every genre you can think of urging you to fuse them to totally different genre (a really good sign for the value of a concept) to be kind of “locked”
