I’m running into a problem where if I have an FX with sidechain in the mixer channel, and I drag it or copy drag it to another channel in the mixer it doesn’t retain my sidechain input settings. Is this an issue or it’s just how Cubase works? Just for clarity, I’m using the mixer on the lower view. Haven’t tested it in full view or anything else as this is how I’m working mainly.
When copying or moving insert FX from one channel to another, the set side chain source channels are not adopted. This applies to the mixer in the lower zone as well as in the mixer window.
Damn!! In Ableton or Logic this isn’t the case. I hope Steinberg does something about it.

The side chain routing isn’t part of the FX itself.
It applies to other areas, like the strip FX, too.
And sometimes it isn’t wanted to transfer the side chain routing to the destination.
