My client sent me an .mp3 file that sounds fine when played in a normal media player, but distorts/clips heavily when I import it into an audio track in Cubase.
I’ve tried the following:
Converting the file to a .wav.
Changing the bitrate and bitdepth of my project and converting the file
I’ve attached a picture of the wave form in Cubase as well as the bitrate of my file.
