Drag MIDI Phrase to Host corrupts my project

  1. Load a preset from the Sub Category: Beat
  2. From menu Edit → sub menu L1 → sub menu FlexP: place the mouse pointer on the MIDI symbol, click/hold and drag a MIDI file to the MIDI track. A MIDI file should be visible and playable on the track. So far so good.
  3. Try saving. I can only get a warning saying that the project is corrupt.

This is referred to as “Exporting the loop sequence” on page 59 in the Halion Sonic Operation Manual.

Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong? Please help me to solve this :unamused:

we could reproduce the issue on our systems.
QA department is informed and we will try to fix it in the next HALion Sonic update 1.5.1

MIDI symbol ??? Where?

I´m using PC, Halion Sonic 1.5 and Cubase 5.5 - but I don´t find a MIDI symbol.
