I originally reported this over in the SL forum pages - with no confirmation either way from other users. The developer replied there, but for whatever reason couldn’t comment on this specifically…
Project Time ‘tooltip’ half hidden behind layer being dragged from SL10 Pro on to a track in Cubase.

This was C12.0.70 - also seen with C13.0.20 Trial that I installed recently (i.e. reported graphics ‘glitches’ etc that appeared with C13 probably not involved)…
The video loops round 3 times (don’t know why). Refresh/reload page to start again.
Anyone else can confirm/deny/comment here please.?
TIA,
Bob
Hi Bob,
I confirm what you see, both in C13 and C12. The tooltip his half-hidden (and seems to always show “1.1.0”, whatever the cursor position is)
There is a little difference between C12 and C13 though when you drag the event to the track list: in C12 the tooltip completely disapears, while in C13 it leaves a tool tip displayed on the project window.

Thanks for the response Franck. Cool - not just me after all.!
So am left unsure who’s ‘concern’ this should be to correct - Cubase team or SL dev, or a bit of both.!
I will double-check about (tooltip) position displayed. I could just about tell that the Tooltip was showing the correct cursor (playhead) position, when trying to drop the layer in C13. Though, I was expecting this value to ‘live update’, reflecting where the Layer/Event Start position was on the timeline, as you drag.? Not stick rigidly to the set cursor position.
Like you see when moving other Events. Maybe that’s a Cubase thing too…
And yes, I agree with both your other points re C12 and C13 tooltip display after drag/drop.
Adding ‘Issue’ tag now.
Thanks again.
Bob
EDIT :- @Franck_Magnier I got a reply from the SL developer
