Dragging end of a staff to the left

Hi all,

the last line in an instrumental part here looks like this:

I would like to move the final barline to the left, so that it not spans over the entire page-width. How can I do that?

You can do this in Engrave mode. Select the Note Spacing tool, then select the box in the lower left of the system and use Alt/Opt+left arrow to move it.

Or you can go to Layout Options > Note Spacing and set “Only justify final system in flow” to 100%, which will prevent that final system from stretching.

Ctrl/Cmd added to that key command gives you bigger jumps, too. Less taptaptaptaptaptap required.
