Dragging Midi File Opens Halion Sonic SE

Dragging a midi file from EZdrummer onto the project window opens an instance of Halion Sonic SE. I’ve looked for a preference to turn this off but can’t find one. Never had this behavior before. Any help would be appreciated.

File - Preferences - MIDI - MIDIfile - and uncheck Auto dissolve format 0
