When I have a MIDI region on one track and then drag it to another track (which already has a MIDI region in the same bar location to merge the two) the region being moved cuts off the region on the second track and replaces all the MIDI information for that bar location.
Is there a setting in Cubase 8 I need to turn off? I’ve looked through the Preferences, the manual, as well as mess with the MIDI record settings on the Transport Bar (though, I believe these have nothing to do with it).
This is similar to when you have Audio Record settings to “Replace” and the new audio region overwrites the previous, except with MIDI.
