Drop-down menues not accessable with plug-in window open

Hi!

For some time now I’ve noticed that I cannot access drop down menues if I have a plug-in or VSTi window open. Clicking on the drop-down menu results in,… nothing. As soon as I close the plug-in window, the menu is available as usual. I’m not sure if this is related to Nuendo or rather some graphics setting. Anyone else with this problem?

Hi,
this does not sound like a Nuendo specific issue. What OS are you on and which Nuendo version do you use?

Which Nuendo version? What kind of graphic card?
There was a similar problem years ago related to a specific graphic driver version.

I’m on W10 (with extended support), Nuendo 15 with the latest update, and a NVidia Quadro P400 card with the global settings set to “Workstation app - Dynamic streaming” as recommended by Steinberg. Always the latest driver for the NVidia, but updating the driver has never made any difference. I’ve had this problem since maybe as far back as Nuendo 13, but certainly since Nuendo 14 and now with version 15, no change. Only in Nuendo though, no other apps that I know of.
