I often experience dropouts when playing back a project that mixes MIDI tracks with audio tracks. However, when I do a “Mixdown,” the dropouts are not present. Is there a setting in Cubase that can reduce or eliminate these dropouts?
Hi Bjorn,
please try to increase the buffer size and see if this solves your problem.
- Select Studio >Studio Setup
- From the Devices list, select your audio hardware driver.
- Click Control Panel
- Do one of the following:
- Windows: Adjust the buffer size in the dialog that opens.
- macOS: Adjust the buffer size in the CoreAudio Device Settings dialog.
Thank you for the tip, I increased the buffer size from 256 to 512 and I think it solved the problem.
