New to Cubase : )
Can anyone replicate this:
If the Drum Machine pads getting triggered rapidly with the mouse (pointer), everything becomes extremely laggy.
Even the track meter get stuck. Performance meters looking normal during the laggyness, no spikes. Try eg drumset “Summer”
Not at once, you´d have to click arround for a while, maybe 15 seconds.
But then it´s on and does not go away until I restart Cubase.
Audio Content is stored on a fast SSD.
It doesn´t occour when triggered via midi controller.
Occours with internal audio (Macbook) too
I don´t know if it´s related, but I found out about this after installing Blackhole. But it´s deinstalled now with the official deinstaller and machine rebooted.
I only test arround stuff since I own it only for a few days.
Another strange thing, buffer 2048 gives very bad performance, with Asioguard off its full of crackels. Not so in lower settings.
