Help! I have a hi hat and a snare that I want beamed together for a drum kit in Dorico. Hi hat has stems up by default whereas snare has stems down. I don’t want to change this I just want one specific example to be beamed together but it’s not wanting to beam them together even when using the beam together dialogue there’s still a gap in between the beams.
I may be wrong, but you could try using the right-click menu: Percussion, Change Voice, and assign the same voice to both notes.
