Hi @letku, you can select a note, right click>Percussion>Change voice, and choose what you need. (Or as @TonH suggests here below, you can try to change the voices in your kit as desired)

Or check in Engraving Options>Articulations>Placement, the desired global default positions. But in this example it should be as in my last screenshot by default.
I’m still not getting the cymbal accents above and bass drum accents below. Do I define this in the kit editor? The Natural Placement option in the Engraving Options places both accents below, which isn’t very natural
strange, all I did was open your file, placed the crash in voice 2, set the engraving options as in you first image in first post and the accents are as shown.
If I flip the stem direction, both notes change simultaneously and in the same direction even though they are different voices and have different stem directions.
Even the accents are placed perfectly. The first example was from the Scoring Express Theatre & Studio template, the second was not. There must be some hidden preferences that override my attempts.
