Drum pattern from the AD2 library to the drum track in Dorico

Good afternoon, please tell me: I ran into a situation where I would like to transfer the drum pattern from the AD2 library to the drum track in Dorico. Once it worked, but then it stopped transferring. Or rather, the cursor shows that communication is happening, but when I release the mouse button to put the pattern block in the right place an empty space is left. Dragging and dropping the pattern on the notation doriko opens a new window - it’s very tedious and complicated. Can you tell me why pattern transfer temporarily worked, but now it doesn’t. How else can you build a competent drum kit line, need advice? (I’m not a drummer, and if I can write down the drum grid, the knockdowns are some difficulties for me, not to mention the fact that I would like a more colorful party). Thanks!

You should find that when you drag MIDI data from a plug-in or from Cubase, you will see a red insertion point in the Key Editor or in the track overview in Play mode, showing where the MIDI file will be inserted when you release the mouse button. If you don’t see the insertion point, perhaps you’re dragging the MIDI file onto the notation view? If you do that, Dorico will indeed import the MIDI file into a new project.
