Drums scores help needed

I bought Cubase 14, and then never used it as it ruined my drum scores and after spending so much time on each one (because it never loads saved ones) the assignments and heads were changed, besides the staffing arrangement, Now I got Cubase 15 for the Omnivocal but checked a simple drum score that I had set up to my satisfaction as clearly understandable, It is somewhat better, but still changed where it put the notes and heads and not easy to correct all over again, From

looks like you have to investigate your drummap. that’s changed considerably since C13. you have to create a new one I think. The old ones are organized differently.

but the fact that you edit stuff and have to redo it on next opening the same song is strange.

Cubase 15 , the DESTROYER. So I edited the C15 as far as I could and I couldn’t get the stick shot to show on space 3 to have an inverted triangle notehead as before, and I couldn’t get the inverted trinangle on the & of 4 which is a tom to have a normal head and go to B3.

So what happens, if as several have suggested in other posts, to just use the C13 for scores? If you just save the modifications in C15 this is what happens going back to C13. So the solution is always to have multiple versions of projects and keep them organized, depending on what capabilities you will lose. They never implemented well the way drum mapping worked in any version. I suppose 90% or better just load samples and don’t bother playing , so it matters little to the developers.

tweaked score from 13 modified in C15, reopened in C13. Originally looked like 1st top picture.
