Will ezdrummer 2 work with cubasis? I not what do u recommend?

Would Allen Morgan drums be my best bet?

Yes — if you mean the Allen Morgan drum MIDI patterns that come with Cubasis, they can work very well in Cubasis 3 on iPad.

The important distinction is that Allen Morgan isn’t a drum instrument in this case; the patterns are MIDI drum grooves/fills. You can use those MIDI patterns to trigger an iOS drum instrument such as Beathawk or DigiStix 2. Users have reported doing exactly this in Cubasis.

Ezdrummer2 is for Desktop.

On Android, Cubasis includes the following drum options:

  • Allen Morgan Signature Drums in MiniSampler
  • Drum kits included with MicroSonic

The easiest way to explore the included kits is via Media > MIDI or Media > Instruments. Browse the available content (e.g. Allen Morgan Signature Drums or Drum Loops) and enable Autoplay to preview audio examples. Double-tap an entry to load the kit or the kit together with a MIDI loop.

Alternatively, you may want to consider optional in-app purchases, such as our new HALion Sonic Play workstation instrument, which includes more than 2,000 sounds, including a wide range of drum kits.
