Imo This and mono/stereo simultaneous bounce/render in place is 2 of the only things missing from Cubase 8.

Dual Buffer is a great implementation so that input buffer can be of low latency and play back buffer set to max.

I read some posts that disagree. I haven’t used ASIO gaurd in 8 yet but in 7.5 Asio gaurd caused further latency for me.
