Dual CPU 6 core with Cubase 6

I am planning to replace my Xeon 4-core workstation with a dual-Xeon 6-core system (so a total of 12 cores).

I have heard that in the past, Cubase had trouble with dual cpu systems. How does it work these days? I would be grateful for a statement from Steinberg and reports from Cubase users who have experiences with a transition to a dual cpu system and the performance boost one can expect.

The system runs on lowest buffer settings (32 samples) for live recordings with lots of plugins.

i got a new 6 core CPU and it works great with C5.5.3. but its not a Xeon and its not c6
