so it was my understanding that the issues with the Ducker plug in would be fixed in this new update, but I am sorry I have to report that the same problems still exist. Was this overlooked?
Really? I think it works. Try it again. Maybe you need to create a new Montage.
hi PG
so your reply lets me know it wasnt just overlooked, that is good, but unfortunately it is not responding the same way it does in Wavelab 12. I will continue to test further to be sure, but the response in Wavelab 12 is so smooth and intuitive, and in Wavelab 13 whatever does respond is drastic movements and changes…
alright so I went back and worked with the settings and I was able to get what seems like an acceptable result, (i will have to use it a bit longer to be sure), but I have a preset I use in Wavelab 12 that is perfect, that has been refined over time, and that preset is useless in Wavelab 13, so something for sure is different, but I will continue to use it further…
If you redo the preset with the same values, you should get the same result.
The audio algorithm has not changed at all.
The bug concerned parameter handling.
Hi PG
yes I am sorry to say that the values have to be different to achieve a similar result, which seems very strange to me, if all things are the same, same levels, same audio files, But in Wavelab 12 the Music Fade - Out time is 0.10 sec and in Wavelab 13 the Music Fade Out time is 0.07 sec, as well as other setting changes to get a somewhat similar result, I can only report this is what is happening. Again, if i can get a similar result with the different numbers, then life goes on, but it strikes me a bit curious why there would be such a re calibration in the first place.
