Dumb question maybe - Time Range Tool and Edit Cut?

So why can’t I cut/remove an audio section layer that I have selected with the Time Range Tool? Not the whole layer, just various parts. This would be after I’ve used the unmix module and selected a layer. Why should something so simple become complicated?

What am I missing?

Select the time range, then Edit > Delete Time :slight_smile:

One thing to note is that terminology might not be the appropriate term for this scenario and ripple delete might be the appropriate terminology here.
