[DUPE]Mixer Channel width changes when switching Workspaces

When switching between workspaces - the mixer channel width gets wider. This is in Cuabse 8 - Win 7 x64.

Other members are experiencing similar issues:

To reproduce:

  • Create a new empty project
  • Open the MixConsole
  • In the MixConsole Window Un-select every option in the “Set Up Window Layout” (make this window a small minimal mixer)
  • Save this as a new Project Workspace named “Test”
  • Close the mixer window
  • Save this as a new Project Workspace named “Test2”
  • Switch between workspaces “Test” and “Test2” and the mixer channels width grows…

Mixer wdth grows for me just after pressing F3 several times. Using Cubase 8 on iMac late 2013 OSX 10.9.5

Confirmed.

+1 here as well

Yep…

Kind of same here. Mixer changes track-size. Haven’t really found a pattern yet…See attached files.
Weird. Never happened with 7.5.

Update 8.0.5 didn’t solve the problem! I will wait one update more and if nothing changes i will ask Steinberg for refund.

It also forget the GUI settings how you left it.
Example if you minimize all Channel Strip settings, next time you switch back to another environment all Channel Strips are always in maximized view again?

Best regards

I’m not 100% sure but it seems that my problem doesn’t appear if I don’t maximize the mixer…
