[DUPE] Text Entry issue introduced in 8.0.5

In previous versions, I could select a piece of text and a blinking cursor would allow me to start typing. This appears to be broken in 8.0.5, since clicking text only results in “SELECT ALL”. I’m using Cubase 6.5 at the same time and can edit text just fine, but for some reason 8.0.5 has this issue for me.

This is driving me nuts as well. I hope it’s considered a bug and that it will be corrected (I’m on Windows 7 btw). Its not a huge deal, just annoying. I am getting used to immediately hitting the right arrow key after selecting text… but I can’t imagine why I shouldn’t be able to click in the text where I want to begin typing (like I always have!).
